Over the course of the past few days, I've had a great time biking around the city in the company of friends. All in all, in the past 3 days alone, I've racked up a grand total of 64 miles. -- not at all bad in a city that is, by and large, unfriendly to cyclists (more on that another time, though).
5/21: On Friday, I spent the majority of my day hopping around the points in between Hollywood and Echo Park. It was during that time that I finally made it out to Two Boots Pizza, the NYC-based proprietor, of well, "unusual" pizzas.
5/22: Saturday, I trotted in the vicinity of the Venice-Santa Monica nexus with my dear Australian friend Alice, of whom was (one of) my roommate in Cuzco, and was in LA until her flight left back for Sydney. We visited the upscale cafeteria concept that is Lemonade -- and because I had lemonade back-to-back, it is the name of this post -- as well as the Westside BBQ establishment, Baby Blue's BBQ. 2 days well spent, if you ask me. Afterwards, I biked around, snapping pictures of Venice's well-documented ultra-modernist/minimalist houses.
